Serving Tampa Bay Area Since 2013

One thermostat for the whole house means some rooms are always too hot or too cold. A zoning system splits your home into separate areas, each with its own thermostat, so every zone gets the comfort it needs.

How It Works

Motorized dampers are installed inside the ductwork. A zone control panel reads each zone’s thermostat and opens or closes the dampers to send cooled or heated air only where it’s called for. WeCool installs and wires the complete system: the control panel, dampers, thermostats and any duct changes needed.

Advantages of Zoning

  • Room-by-room comfort: Keep the bedrooms cool at night without over-cooling the rest of the house.
  • Fixes hot and cold spots: Two-story homes, bonus rooms and rooms over garages finally stay even.
  • Lower energy use: You stop conditioning empty rooms, which can help reduce your bills.
  • Less wear on equipment: The system works on what’s needed instead of running the whole house.
  • Fewer comfort fights: Everyone gets their own setting.
  • Works with your existing system: In many homes, zoning can be added to current ductwork.

Is Zoning Right for Your Home?

Zoning is a great fit for two-story homes, large or open floor plans, additions, and rooms that are rarely used. We’ll look at your ductwork and equipment and tell you honestly if it makes sense.
